A recent survey has found that Australia is still the most successful destination for British expats.The seventh annual NatWest International Personal Banking Quality of Life index, undertaken by the Centre for Future Studies, found that 89% of Britons living in Australia reported an improved quality of life.
82% of those questioned said that their main reason for living in Australia was a better environment and quality of life for their children, with 73% saying that their health had improved in the new climate.
84% of those questioned said that the Australian sunshine was one of their top five reasons for living there, with 68% saying that they felt wealthier with more disposable income.

The index reports that Far Eastern countries have risen in rankings lately, while European countries have dropped down, as more expats consider moving back to the UK after the introduction of EU austerity measures. You can find out more about this survey here.
