The Victorian International Education Awards this year brought success for a number of the colleges that we work with. NMIT claimed the award for Excellence in International Education – TAFE, read more about that here, while William Angliss has won the award for Excellence in International Student Employability and Career Development.
William Angliss Institute, which has it’s main campus in Melbourne, has been recognised by the government as leaders in supporting international students in their career development through providing extensive work-integrated learning, including volunteer and work placements with industry. According to 2013 research [Social Research Centre for the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER)], 90.4% of William Angliss graduates are working or undertaking further training since completing their course.
Mentoring, industry partnerships and a careers and employment service are also provided to help international students gain employment and take part in national and international study tours.
